Titanium^® Tech offers the same level of scratch resistance as other entries in our Independence^® AR line, meaning that it can, and will, resist scratches even from steel wool

Hydrophobic

Titanium^® Tech is hydrophobic meaning it is a water-repellent coating. This causes water to bead up on the surface of the lens, and makes it easier to clean.

Oleophobic

Not only is it hydrophobic but its also oleophobic meaning is is also an oil-repellent coating. This helps the lens resist fingerprints and smudges, and makes them easier to clean off.

Anti-Static

In addition, it is Anti-static as well. As we all know static helps attract dust and dirt to a lens. Anti-static coatings work to eliminate static build-up generated when wiping and cleaning the lens. This helps keep the lenses clearer and cleaner for a longer period between cleanings.

Hydrophobic

Hydrophobic is a water-repellent coating. This causes water to bead up on the surface of the lens and makes it easier to clean.
